Years ago, plans were made to rezone the area of Point of View for office purposes. The office demand remained fundamentally lower than the supply despite its location in the city centre. However, there was an increasing demand for housing. Parties in the area opposed any form of construction, because of a small green area. Blauwhoed recognised the potential of a residential building and tried to find a solution with all parties involved. Resulting in Point of View, an imposing, sustainable, compact residential tower. And preservation of greenery.

The residential tower adds value to the existing housing supply in Nieuwegein. The striking tower offers state-of-the art architecture, a high-quality living environment and quality finishings. And features staggered balconies and spectacular high terraces. The residences are furnished with glass walls and large outdoor areas. The penthouses comprise a surface of 200 m2 and provide three sunny sides. All residences are equipped with floor heating. The tower contains an underground carpark and a public rooftop terrace.

At the start of the project, the neighbouring residents initially opposed any kind of construction in this area. Particularly because of a green stretch of land used as playing and dog walking area. Blauwhoed discussed the preferences and options with these residents. Resulting in the replacement of the initial plan containing two residential towers by one striking residential tower with an elegant green look and feel, a public rooftop garden and preservation of greenery.  A plan to the liking of all parties involved.
